If there was a path leading us into spring, it would be lined with a carpet of delicate, star shaped blooms that spill over the edge of the curb. While in bloom, creeping phlox or phlox subulata is a welcome reminder that spring has sprung. This sun loving, perennial ground cover makes a beautiful addition to rock gardens and also looks striking trailing along the edge of perennial beds.
